Let's take a poll. Soft Shell or Hard Shell. I would love it if some of you who are reading this would comment your answer. Maybe if I gave a prize for commenting on this blog I could actually get some participation (maybe that should be the poll, who thinks giving prizes to encourage participation would be wrong?). Seriously though, I really want to know what everyone else likes. I myself am a Soft Shell guy. The hard shells usually crack down the middle or all the meat and stuff falls out the back. With a soft shell you can fold the back up and it never falls out (BooYah!).
So I'm sure you're all like, "Buffalo Dip and Tacos, he's way over his calories for today!" You would then be wrong. It's all about portion control. It's about change. It's only pulling a serving size of chips out and only scooping a specific amount of dip or taco meat onto your plate. It's amazing how many servings I used to eat. Do you know how easy it is to eat more that 7-10 chips? Come on, I'm sure someone out there would eat a half bag (at minimum) every time they opened the chips up (especially Doritos... well I guess that applies to all chips). I mean Pringles got it right didn't they? "Once you pop, you can't stop!" I'll admit the first week or two was really hard. My stomach ached for more food at a time. Now, it hardly takes anything to fill me up at a meal. It also helps build discipline and self-control. Both of which I am going to need on this journey to lose my butter half.
As you already know, I was able to stay in my calorie goal and complete another workout. I am ready for the weekend!
