Day Fifty - Weigh in #7 - Slowly but Surely the Fat Man Loses Weight

I can't believe I have completed seven weeks already.  This past week wasn't the easiest between our bonfire and then my birthday.  There was a ton of food that was very hard to turn down.  There is still this ugly part of me that still wants to binge out on unhealthy food, and Monday evening I even fell into the old habit of eating all of my food (and more) without checking calories first.  I have to be more careful, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before I know it.  I don't want to have negative experiences during the holidays.  I want to buck the trend and continue to lose during this time.  Maybe it will require longer workouts or a stricter diet on the types of foods I'm eating.  I know I can do it, it is just going to take a lot of planning.

Well, I know you all didn't come to my blog just to be warned about the upcoming holidays (that is a bonus and it's free!  So, you're welcome).  Today was weigh in day.  Thankfully I did continue in the right direction.  As of this morning, I lost another 1.4 pounds.  That brings my total weight lost to 31.8 pounds.  I really wanted to continue the three to four pounds loss each week until Christmas.  I am hoping that I am not slowing down (we shall see this week).  Still, I will not complain about a week when I weigh less than the week before.  It may be a little slower than I'd like, but it's still losing my butter half.

I got very distracted at work today and failed to eat my lunch.  So I had two sliders at dinner and a little bit larger piece of my birthday cake (it's gone now!).  I'm still pleased that I am under my calories, but don't want to be skipping meals.  Another day on the old exercise bike.  I really can't find an accurate calories burned number for my recumbent bike (I have trouble believing I'm burning 750 calories in 40 minutes).  So if anyone knows or has a website for it, please let me know.
