Day Forty-Seven - It's My Birthday and...

So today I turned thirty-one years old.  It's an amazing thing to think that God has given me so many blessings in my life.  Bekah gave me an amazing evening.  She took me to the driving range where we hit a bucket of golf balls.  This was the first time she's ever hit, and while she may not be on the LPGA anytime soon, she did well.  I think we should probably invest in some clubs (that actually fit her) for her soon.  We tried a new restaurant tonight.  It's called Tacos 4 Life.  This is an amazing restaurant.  For every meal they serve, they provide a meal for a hungry child in another country.  It's also amazing food.  Finally, we enjoyed Bekah's awesome cookies 'n cream ice cream cake with our friends who watched B and E tonight.

So you remember all my talk about being prepared and how that will help keep you on track?  Apparently I forgot about it tonight.  I did a really great job with breakfast and lunch.  My awesome coworkers had a little celebration with Chicken King Lemon Pepper Hot Wings today.  I did really good and only ate 6 wings (yes, that is good for me).  Tonight was the problem.  I had no clue what Bekah's plans were, and it just threw me off.  We ate at Tacos 4 Life and it was awesome!  The problem though was that we had chips and salsa/queso blanco/guacamole.  I had a fried chicken taco and a steak taco.  I should have realized how many calories were going to be in each taco.  By the time dinner was over, I was feeling overstuffed, and already over 1500 calories.  I had some ice cream cake which put me around 1700 calories.  I still don't know the exact calorie intake (Tacos 4 Life ins't in MyFitnessPal), but I know I was under 2000.  So forty-seven days in I have now turned thirty-one. Here is to a great year with God, family, friends, opening my own agency (hopefully), and of course losing my butter half.

I know I blew it by not being prepared at dinner.  I did my best to find the nutritional information, but I know it isn't accurate.  I did hit another day of exercise, so that was exciting!
