It's been a phenomenal ten weeks, and tonight I'd like to give you a simple update (it's the least I can do after the rambling I did above). I feel great. Outside of normal issues of being overweight still, I can tell huge improvements. One area is my sleep apnea. While I'll most likely always have sleep apnea (the Dr said I have severe sleep apnea that will always be there no matter my weight), Bekah mentioned that I was beginning to snore even with my CPAP. Since losing weight, that has stopped. This means I am sleeping a little better (I only say a little because we still have a ten month old and an old mattress). My IBS has been non-existent. This is partly due to my diet, but mostly to the Plexus ProBio 5. Another difference is that my face is starting to become a little more recognizable. I'm excited for when I get back under two hundred fifty pounds. I haven't seen myself that thin in years, so I can only image the difference. I find myself having more energy and strength overall. This is especially true in my legs. While it still is a little uncomfortable to stand for hours, I'm not needing to sit after being on my feet for ten minutes. All of my pants are starting to bag pretty bad. I know I'll be needing new ones soon, but I'm hoping I can wait until closer to or after Christmas. I'm still staying at my 1500 calories/day and 40 minutes of exercise. These processes and the accountability of this blog have been working so far, and I'm confident that they are the pathway to losing my butter half.
I had a great day eating and another workout on the bike. I'm excited/nervous for tomorrow's weigh in. I'm really hoping for at least three pounds off. We shall see!
