Day Ninety-Two - Weigh in #13 - The Workout Streak Has Ended
I really don't like the fact that I had to break my workout routine last night. The last day I had missed a workout was September 27th. That means I had worked out for sixty-three straight days before last night. I know I could not have worked out last night. I did not have the energy to do it, but it still frustrates me that I broke that streak.
This morning I weighed in for the thirteenth time along my journey. I am now officially one quarter of the way along my journey (as far as time goes). Thankfully, the light workout I did on Tuesday and missing last night's workout did not hurt my weight in too much. As of this morning I am down another 3.2 lbs. This brings my total weight loss to 56.2 lbs. weighing in at 310 lbs. It wasn't quite as much as I was hoping my total loss would be, but considering I traveled and ate out a few of my meals and didn't get to work out last night I am pretty happy with my results. This leaves me only TEN pounds from my Christmas goal of 300 lbs. I will need to average 3.5 lbs. a week in order to hit this, which is not impossible (just not easier either). However, if there is anything I have learned from my journey so far, it's that none of this is easy. It takes work, focus, determination, consistent planning, and accountability. I am confident that for the next three weeks I can use each of these to reach my next milestone by Christmas. So wish me luck as I continue to lose my butter half.
It was a good day for calories, and I had the best ride I've had so far. I figured what better way to stat off a new workout streak than to hit the sixty minute mark for the first time!
