When you are losing weight, you don't always notice the size difference. I mean I can feel the differences, and I can see some changes (especially in my face). But unless I'm comparing it to photos from before I started, I don't notice the differences in my overall size. So when people tell me that I'm "looking good" or that they can "really see a difference," I say thank you. All the while if I didn't see the numbers on the scale each week, I'm not sure I'd actually believe them. Today, E said something to me that really made me smile. I was getting ready for work, and she walked up to me and said, "Those pants are saggy!" I have been putting off buying new pants until I'm down a few sizes. I guess Ella's comments mean I'm down a few sizes.
So what are the evidences of your progress? Are there things people are pointing out to you or that you can see yourself? Maybe it's like me and it is literally a physical difference. Maybe it's a time management or self-improvement goal. The point is that hopefully there are measurable ways that you can see your progress. I'm grateful for the progress I've made so far, and I can't wait to see the differences as I make more progress. I'm excited to lose my butter half.
My eating was good today, but I'm afraid I didn't eat enough calories. That happens sometimes when you are sick and you don't have much of an appetite. I was able to complete a full workout!
