Day One Hundred and Two - Pizza Ruined My Day (But It Was Delicious)
So today wasn't my best day of eating. I thought I would have a big lunch and a lighter dinner (which is normal for Sundays). Then our evening plans changed and we ended up eating pizza (FYI, Little Caesar's stuffed crust with pepperoni in the crust is really good). I like pizza so much, but lately I dread it. It's like an old friend you're excited is coming to visit, and after they leave you're reminded why you haven't seen them in ten years. I only had two pieces, but I definitely had too many calories. So I should have monitored it closer and eaten less.
I know what you're thinking. I didn't blow my diet completely, I just really feel like I ate more than I needed to (and went over my 1500 calories). So where do I go from here? It's really quite simple. I will continue like normal using today as a reminder that any meal or snack can push me over my calorie goal. I'll continue exercising each day and trust that these processes will help me reach my goal. While I hope today won't stop me from reaching my Christmas goal, I know one bad day isn't going to stop me from my final goal. I'm still losing my butter half.
My calorie intake obviously wasn't what I wanted, but my exercise went well.
