Day One Hundred and Thirty-Five - Pinterest Fails

We've all seen them.  We've all laughed at them.  We've all sworn that we would do better.  I'm talking about Pinterest Fails.  The pictures of people's attempts at making things they find on Pinterest have flooded the internet as a great source of laughs.  Crafts, foods, pictures, and more.  Just a quick google search will provide you with hours of entertainment.  While I don't think the project I was working on tonight is a complete fail, it definitely didn't come out the same as the video.  I was trying to attach the legs to the sofa table Bekah is making.  Let's just say the legs are on, but I think we used a board that is a little too long for this project.  I still think it is going to work, just actually building this is a lot more difficult than the video made it seem.

That's the way losing weight (or any goal) works sometimes.  We have an idea, or we read about a new diet.  If you are like me, you jump right in and are overcome with the realization that you completely underestimated the amount of work it will take to meet your goal.  Or you complete the program or task only to realize the results aren't quite like you thought they would be.  This time has been different for me.  I knew how much work it was going to take.  I had been through this before (without the right expectations) and had failed.  So this time I'm aware of what it will take even thought I still don't know what the end results will look like.  So here's to this journey not being a Pinterest fail.  I'm losing my butter half.

My calorie intake was really good today.  I didn't exercise because my evening was spent in the garage working on the table.  I need to try and double up over the next few days.
