With each day of this journey, I grow more and more excited. It's an amazing feeling to see family pictures taken back in the fall and notice a huge (no pun intended) difference in how I looked then and how I look now. I get encouraged with each weigh in on Thursday mornings because I know that, eventually, I will see the scale read 200! Also, I'm not sure if I talked about this back at Christmas, but I was thinking about how great it is to not see a three at the beginning of my weight each week. I know I may only be seven or eight pounds under three hundred, but it is still a great feeling to know that I am out of that weight class.
One of the things that has helped me the most in getting under the 300 mark is Bekah's willingness to fix healthy meals for me each day. Nearly every morning she separates the egg whites from two eggs. It's something that I take for granted way too often, but I'm so thankful she does it. She makes me lunch each day so that I don't have to buy anything out. Then tonight she made a really great smoked paprika chicken dish. I was able to slice up the chicken and eat it on a salad. I don't think I've said it on here enough, but I want to make sure to give my bride a huge shout out and thank you! I love you Bekah and I'm so grateful for your love and support as I lose my butter half!
My intake today was good. I was also able to get in a great workout while watching UK beat Miss. St tonight (Go Cats!).
