With this pain in my lower back (kind of on the left side/corner) I'm not sure I'm going to be able to exercise tonight. I may ride at a slow speed for twenty minutes or so, but I'm not even sure I'll attempt that. It really is frustrating when you are trying your best to be faithful to workout (and avoiding sodas and other sugary drinks) and something that is out of your control comes in and just seems to derail your plans/processes. All I can do is keep my focus on the positives I've had today and be grateful for the success I've had so far. I may not have lost very much (if any) this week, and if that is the case then I may have to be wiser in my food choices until I can get back to my normal workout. But look how far I've made it! There is no way I'm stopping anytime soon. Back pain or no back pain I'm seventy pounds down and I've got the itch to keep on losing. I'm tired, a little cranky, and in quite a bit of pain (the Advil is wearing off). But none of those things are going to keep me from losing my butter half.
I had a great day for calories. I took a salad to work today (which was really tasty!) and Bekah made some vegetable meatballs (yes, that is an oxymoron) for dinner that were...well, about what you'd expect veggie meatballs to be. Honestly, I'm sure she made them perfect for what they are supposed to be (apparently they are very popular), and I'm sure some people love them. But if I eat a meatball, I want it to contain the key ingredient. I'm most likely not working out tonight, so I'm going to go ahead and post my tracker for the day and pray that I'm better in the morning.
***UPDATE - I was able to get in a 30 minute ride just now. The Advil held off the pain, and I did a moderate workout (7-8 resistance and 8-10 mph).
