Day One Hundred and Seventy-Three - Getting Better Sleep
Just a quick update tonight. I'm really trying to do better about this whole getting enough sleep idea. We got a new mattress this weekend, and while it is a budget friendly purchase, anything is better than what we've been sleeping on for the past year. I would have to say one of the best things about losing weight is how I sleep. It's easier to sleep on my back, and I'm sleeping more soundly. Now with the new mattress I can add waking up without the back pain to my list. Getting more sleep definitely helps my body in my weight loss process. The weight loss journey has provided many life changing benefits (did I mention I jogged from the front of Kroger, to the back, and then back to the front the other day?!) and I'm only a little over halfway there. I'm sleeping better, and it's helping me lose my butter half.
My calorie intake was good today. I did have a couple chocolate-covered strawberries (yes, they are my new weakness). I fit a good workout in this evening, but I still feel like my intensity could be better.
