Day One Hundred and Sixty-Eight - From Burgers and Fries to a Daily Salad

I feel like I've had a bad week overall.  I've allowed myself a few food choices that I'd normally avoid.  It's rare these days that I would have pizza twice in a week.  I know I was careful with it and did well not to overeat, but it just feels different.  Add in the sugary sweets from Valentine's Day, and now you know why I'm not happy with my week overall.  The bright spot this week has that I've been able to hit my workout each day.  I'm pretty confident I will have lost weight again, I'm just not quite sure how much.

I am excited that I got another cocoa/chili powder pork salad.  Bekah made the pork Monday evening, and it is so good sliced onto a salad.  The pork is low calorie and mixes with the (small portion) ranch dressing.  It really combines for an incredible salad.  I am still shocked each time I write about how good my salad was.  I look at my entry and think, "did I really just say that?"  It's moments like these that speak testimony to my life change.  It really seems like one minute I'm eating burgers and fries each day, and then I blinked twice and now I rarely have a day without salad.  If you have trouble eating salads, just ask and I'll give you a few suggestions.  I'm eating salads nearly daily and I'm losing my butter half.

My calorie intake has been great today, and I just completed another work out. Now it's time for some shut-eye so I can be rested for tomorrow's weigh in.
