Day One Hundred and Eighty-Seven - Some Days You Just Feel Tired
This week has been interesting for me so far. Since Thursday I haven't missed any workouts, and I've done really well on my eating (except for Sunday evening). Still, I just don't feel like I've been doing very well. I don't know if it is from waking up early or if the foods I've been eating are really heavy foods. Something definitely feels different right now. This will happen when you're on a weight loss journey. It won't all be easy. There will be days that you don't want to work out, or the food you eat makes you feel full or bloated. Honestly, I really think that I'm feeling like this because of my sleep change.
My question is how do I get past this sluggish feeling? I don't think I'm sick with a cold or anything like that. I think the first step is to get to bed earlier. This will allow me to see if my sluggishness is a result of not getting enough sleep. This is what we do anytime we run into a problem along a journey. We try to figure out what the problem is. I could just ignore how I feel, but in order to continue with my life change I know I need to figure out why I'm not feeling one hundred percent. In order to figure it out, I need to head on to bed tonight. I'm rather worn out, but I'm still losing my butter half!
My calorie intake was good today. I do feel pretty full from dinner, so that may be part of my sluggishness. I measured and weighed my meal, but I still feel like it was a lot of food. I got a full workout in this morning, and plan to continue this new schedule.
