Day One Hundred and Ninety-Eight - Some People Lift Weights, I Lift 26 Lbs of Bubs!

After two really poor weeks for weight loss (six tenths of a pound over two weeks), I realize that I need to make some changes.  I have quite a few ideas that I will slowly start implementing over the next few weeks.  Some of you may be asking why I am doing this.  I mean, I have still been losing weight right?  Why change things up if something I am doing is working?  I'm not going to make major changes.  My basic process will be the same as it's been for over six months.  I'll be attempting to burn more than I take in.  I am simply going to add a few things to my routine.

First off, I will be adding to my workout.  I have already added crunches to my workout (a simple set of fifteen to start off).  I will stay with the one set and then slowly over the next few weeks work up to three sets per night.  I will eventually add in pushups to the mix, but right now I am still dealing with some musculoskeletal pain in my chest (it isn't heart or lung related.  I went to my Dr. who ran an EKG, did chest X-rays, and took blood and all was clear) as well as pain in my right arm.  I'm pretty sure I have a pinched nerve.  Any doctor with input feel free to chime in (it's a burning/stinging down the back of my arm from my shoulder towards my elbow).  So as those pains go away, I will slowly add in a regimine of pushups.  Eventually I will be adding in planks and slowly transition to running outside as the weather warms up.  Tonight, I added a special workout.  I did some twenty-six pound (otherwise known as Bubs) presses while riding the recumbent.  I'm excited about the changes ahead, and I have one more change I'll tell you about tomorrow.  Tonight, I'm still losing my butter half.

I had a great day for my calorie intake.  I enjoyed a delicious salad, and really did a good job avoiding sweets.  Bekah made some awesome salmon patties for dinner.  My workout tonight was really good again.  I was able to get a full workout in and my set of crunches (and a couple Bubs lifts).
