Day One Hundred and Ninety-Five - Greens and Goals

It's been a few days since I posted about a salad.  I was thinking this afternoon about how six months ago (really even less than that) I would rarely eat salads.  There was no way I would ever say that I enjoyed eating salads.  It is a major evidence of the life change I've gone through.  There are other changes that show just how much different my life is today.  We rarely eat out anymore.  I can't remember the last time I went to Mcdonald's.  I try to get up at 5:45 AM.  In the past, being up before 6:30 wasn't even considered.  My energy is so much better than before and my drive to succeed has increased.  It's great to see just how much different my life is today.

What are the evidences of changes you've made in your life?  If you don't have any, my question for you tonight is why not?  Why are you satisfied with remaining stagnant?  We have to keep growing (or in my case shrinking).  If you haven't set goals for yourself, I challenge you to do that tonight.  If you'll set a goal (no matter how big or small) and stay on track, you'll be amazed how far your journey will take you in just a brief amount of time.  I'm so grateful for these past six months and the progress I've had.  I'm different today than I was six months ago, and it's because I'm losing my butter half.

I had a great day for calorie intake.  My southwest chicken salad was the perfect dinner.  I am still struggling to catch up on rest from our trip.  Even though I didn't get up to workout this morning, I did get a full workout in when I got home tonight.
