Day One Hundred and Ninety-One - It Was a Good Day...and Then I Saw the Brownies

I did it again.  I was sucked in by the delicious sweetness of homemade brownies.  After a really great day of calories, we went to a rehearsal dinner this evening.  They had a stir fry buffet (which was amazing) and I wasn't sure how to track the calories.  I did my best with it and made sure not to eat everything I put on my plate (just to be safe).  I avoided dessert and came home.  When I got here my mom had made some of the best homemade brownies I've had in a long time.  This is where my good day went south.

I really am not a fan of made-from-scratch brownies.  They've never had the flaky outside and gooey inside that make box mix brownies so delicious.  Every once in a while, I'll run across some homemade brownies that are as good or better than the box mix.  Tonight was one of those times.  My mom made some homemade brownies that were perfect.  They had just the right textures and the flavor was spot on.  I took a little piece of one and before I new it I had eaten at least a brownie and a half.  This isn't the way I wanted to end a really good day of eating and exercise.  I know it isn't the way to get back on track.  I will have to adjust, and be really careful at the wedding tomorrow.  I know I can do this.  I know I can make the adjustments needed to lost my butter half.

As I mentioned above, my calorie intake was great until late this evening.  During the UK win today I was able to get in a full workout!  I'm grateful that even on my off days I can still get my workout in.
