Day One Hundred and Ninety-Six - Change Will Do You Good

I know I have said this a lot, but things have changed in recent days.  I have really slowed down these past few weeks.  I have another weigh in tomorrow morning, and I find myself hoping to be a pound down.  I can remember not too long ago when I was expecting to have loss at least three pounds or more each Thursday.  I know I haven't been doing as well with what I've chosen to put in my body, but I'm doing really well with my workouts.  I was on the road for a lot of this past week, so I won't be too hard on myself if I haven't lost weight in the morning.  Next week (when I've had a full week back in my normal routine) should give a better picture of whether I need to make changes in my processes.

Sometimes we do need to adjust our processes in order to continue our success.  I may need to start running each day (which I've been trying to hold off until I'm well under two hundred and fifty pounds) or riding my recumbent for longer workouts (or twice a day).  It may take more effort or commitment in order to reach my goals.  This is what helps me know that my goal is worth striving toward.  When I'm willing to make changes and do harder things in order to reach my goal.  What are you having to work harder and/or make changes in your life for?  I may soon be making some adjustments, and I'm losing my butter half.

My calorie intake today was good.  I had a few bites of barbecue today that a coworker's brother made.  It was delicious.  So good, that I brought some of the chicken breast home and cut it up in my salad.  I am still not to the point of being caught up on sleep to work out in the morning.  I was able to  fit a workout in tonight.  I also added in a short set of abdominal crunches.  I know this is just the beginning of adding crunches to my workout, and I am excited to have crunches in my routine.
