Day One Hundred and Ninety-Three - We're Home!

Memphis (top) and Nashville (bottom) Skylines
Well, after driving for twenty hours through three states in the past five days we are home.  We drove from Arkansas, through Tennessee, to Kentucky, and then back through Tennessee to Arkansas.  Needless to say, I (and Rebekah) am completely exhausted.  Visiting my parents and seeing friends was great, but that drive!  I have to give credit to the kids.  They did amazing!  B was perfect all the way to Kentucky, and on the way home today he really did amazing again.  There was only a little bit of time that he fussed.  On the way to Kentucky, E didn't even ask to watch anything on the iPad until we were within an hour of my parents house.  It really was a great trip.

Eating when traveling is frustrating.  Especially when there are so many delicious snacks around.  The brownies, cookies, steaks, salty snacks, and cheesecakes (at the wedding) really make losing weight difficult.  As you all know from my trackers these past few days, I haven't been resisting and making wise choices.  Today was no different.  I had peanuts and sweet things while we drove.  It was very hard not to keep on eating more and more (especially the BBQ Goldfish!).  Tomorrow I have to get back to my six AM workouts and better calorie choices.  I'm home, and I'm losing my butter half.

Calories were interesting.  I snacked a lot today, and then had a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's for dinner.  I had to run out for some groceries when I got home, so I didn't get to workout.  I will have to get up early and get a full ride in.  I'm grateful my folks have a recumbent I was able to use while I was visiting them.
