Day Two Hundred and Two - Cleaning Out My Butter Half Closet

Tonight Bekah and I did some much needed organizing in our room and in our closet.  We have had some tubs of clothes in our room that hadn't been organized for a while, and I've been meaning to pull all of the clothes that I can't wear anymore from the closet.  When you lose this much weight, you normally need to go out and purchase a new wardrobe.  Thankfully, I have kept a lot of the clothes from before I put on all of this weight.  Eventually, I may purchase more clothes, but right now I'm only a little more than halfway to losing my butter half so I think it's probably best to wait.  As I was going through clothes that I wore just a few months ago, a realization of how much weight I've actually lost in the past six months slowly crept over me.

Back in November I purchased a new suit for an interview.  It fit, but the vest was very tight.  As I pulled it out of the closet to put in with other clothes to sell, I tried the vest on.  It was way too big now.  From tight to extremely big in less than four months, I'll take that any day.  There were sweaters and dress shirts, jeans and dress slacks, and even gym shorts and t-shirts that I just can't wear anymore.  I'm not complaining (ok, I only wore the suit once, so that bugs me a little bit).  I know this is a good problem to have.  Now the challenge is finding someone large who wants to buy clothes at a discount price (if you know anyone who wears a 3XL, let me know).  I'm really excited about the progress I've made, and it's nights like tonight that give me encouragement to keep moving forward on this journey.  I'm a full size down (and nearing two sizes down, three pant sizes down), and I'm loving it!  I'm losing my butter half.

My calorie intake was great today.  I had a delicious salad at lunch and enjoyed a healthy chicken, rice, and carrots dinner Bekah made in her Instant Pot.  I'm still having a hard time getting back on a good sleep schedule so I can workout in the mornings.  I will keep trying.  Thankfully, I was able to get a full workout in after work tonight.
