I really want to get this week off to a good start. So I'm going to write a quick blog and get to sleep. My goal is to get an AM workout in tomorrow morning, and then do another smaller workout tomorrow evening. We'll see how it goes. I had a really great day today. I worked out before church (I want to say that the sermon this morning was great), which gave me the afternoon to spend time with Bekah and the kids. This evening was spent with our care group from church. When we meet, we always have dinner. Tonight's dinner was pizza. As everyone already knows, I love pizza! I really don't allow myself to have it very often because of the number of carbs (which I normally take Block to help with). I was very excited to have some good ol' Papa John's. I am very encouraged when I can stop after two slices of pizza. Remember, I'm the guy who would eat six to eight pieces every time I had pizza. I think I'd been eating more than two slices since I was a little kid. So for me to stop at two still surprises me. I usually avoid the desserts at Care Group, but my mom is in town and she made a blueberry pie with E last night. I had a tiny serving with a very small amount of ice cream. It was awesome! Who wouldn't want pie for dinner and dessert? I guess I should have had that dinner back on March 14th, but it was just as tasty today. I had a great day with pie(s) for dinner, and I'm still losing my butter half.
My calories were good today, but I didn't have any fruit which is abnormal for me. I'll fix that tomorrow. I got a full ride in this morning and did all three sets of crunches.
