Day Two Hundred and Thirty-Four - Empty Fridge Means Saturday Shopping Trip

Saturdays and Sundays are typically my hardest days for making wise food choices.  If I don't have something keeping me busy, then I find myself snacking.  I wish I could say that I make wise choices when I'm snacking, but I can't.  Today at lunch I found myself snacking on Hershey's Kisses and Jellybeans (leftovers from Easter).  We didn't have much in the house, so I made a half PB&J.  I went shopping this evening and picked up some healthier foods.  Thankfully, I had the opportunity to balance my poor lunch with a healthy salad at dinner tonight.  I'm still trying to kick the last of this cold.  It's moved into my chest (the last stop for all colds on their way out for me), which is not very comfortable.  Thankfully it also means that my sore throat is gone.  Since I'm still recovering, I'm going to cut this post short and get some sleep. I'm still not doing perfect every day, but I'll get there.  I'm losing my butter half.

My intake today was great for breakfast and dinner, but lunch was a tiny detour.  Even though I spent a lot of my day with the kids, I did get in a full workout today.
