The smell of freshly cut grass lingers in the air tonight. After mowing, trimming, and edging, I stepped back and admired the fresh cut and clean lines. Getting a lawn to look bright and green takes a lot of work. What you put into the yard matters. It's the same with your body. Good feed really brightens the grass and allows it to grow well. A proper weed killer can choke out weeds that try to come up and overtake the grass. What we put in our bodies works similarly. I am living proof that years of greasy, fast-food and chips will ruin your body just like weeds. When I started eating vegetables and avoiding fried food and sodas, I saw huge changes in my ability to develop my body. Also, just like cutting Bermuda grass helps it grow, working out our muscles help them to grow. It also matters how we care for our lawn. If you just leave it uncut, then it will grow out of control until the house is hardly visible. If we don't take care our bodies they will grow until you aren't even recognizable any more.
I know all of you are tired of hearing about my lawn, so we'll get to the "real" point of today's blog. This morning was my thirty-third weigh in. For thirty-three weeks I have stepped onto that little platform of truth to see how much progress I have made. For all but one of those weeks (the week we don't speak of) I have seen the number on the scale go down. So, how about this morning? Which direction did the scale tip today? I'm happy to report that as of this morning I have lost another 3.4 lbs! This brings my total amount lost to 110 lbs., with a current weight of 256.2 lbs. I was not expecting to be down over three pounds this week. I am continuing to work hard, and I really am seeing results. I don't just mean in my weight, but in my energy, strength, and confidence. I'm one hundred and ten pounds down, and I'm still losing my butter half.
I had a good day for calories. I did allow myself to have one Reese's egg for dessert tonight, but overall it was a good day. I'm still taking my Plexus products, and I'm still seeing results from them. If you haven't tried the Triplex, please contact my wife, Bekah, ASAP! I got a full workout in this morning, extending my two-arm plank time to one minute. It was very difficult, but I made it (shaking like crazy after forty seconds). I also mowed the lawn tonight, so that means I went over 10,000 steps today!
Great Job! So proud of you bro!
