Day Two Hundred and Twenty-One - I Have Good News and Bad News...

Bad news first.  I went into today with the best of intentions.  Honestly, I never expected to to blow my diet at lunch today.  We went to Short Smalls BBQ.  I had every intention of getting a small meal and not eating all of it.  Sadly, that didn't happen.  I made several poor choices for my lunch resulting in a really high calorie day, and that was with me having just fruit for dinner.  I had so much for lunch that I am still full even now at bedtime (and that is with splitting a meal with Bekah).  This means that I have completed four days this week and out of those four I have only had one day (Saturday) that was even remotely healthy.  So, I have Monday-Wednesday to eat strictly with my diet and pray that I haven't put on weight when I weigh in on Thursday.

The good news is that I had a great weekend as far as small projects around the house.  Tonight I got Bekah's new laundry room shelves hung.  They were pretty simple to build.  I just bought four white shelf boards from Home Depot.  I purchased the brackets, screws, and drywall anchors from there as well.  I predrilled the holes in the shelves and attached the brackets ahead of time.  Then today I hung all four shelves on the wall.  It really does look good (see picture) and I know it's something Bekah has wanted since we moved in. Now my weekend is over and it's back to the nine to five.  I have to be focused and disciplined these next three days.  I want to keep losing my butter half.

As I mentioned above, my calories were terrible today.  I think I tracked them correctly, but Shorty Small's wasn't in myfitnesspal, so I had to choose comparable foods to get the calories.  My workout this morning was great.  I wanted to add a second workout this evening, but I got a late jump on the shelves.
