Day Two Hundred and Twenty-Nine - 6AM workouts are a Blessing and a Curse


It's days like today that make me wish I didn't change to the early morning workouts.  I didn't get enough sleep over the weekend or get in bed early enough last night.  I felt like I was dragging today after about three o'clock.  It's only 7:25 now, and I am completely exhausted.  So now that I think about it, I'm pretty glad that I don't have a workout looming for later on tonight.  I guess you could say they are a blessing and a curse.

Two nights ago Bekah made an amazing pork loin.  We had some of the leftovers tonight with sweet potatoes, sautéed vegetables, and macaroni and cheese.  It was a really great dinner.  I wish I had taken a picture of the meal before I started eating.  How awesome is my wife for cooking these amazing, healthy meals!  Just tonight she was chopping carrots for my lunches this week.  She is my biggest cheerleader, and I couldn't be doing this without her.  I hope I inspire her just as much as she does me.  I'm tired, but my belly is full as I'm losing my butter half.

My calorie intake today was great.  A big improvement from the weekend.  I was able to complete another workout this morning.  The planks are getting better.  I didn't fall yesterday or today.
