Day Two Hundred and Forty-Three - 6AM Workouts, Exhausting Days, and an Amazing Chicken Dinner

The first of the month is always the busiest day at work.  In the past, my exhaustion from a day like today would be a perfect set up for a huge binge of calories.  I mean come on, I deserved to satisfy my gluttonous cravings.  I had a long hard day.  It's this type of addict mentality that led me to ballooning up to 366 lbs. in the first place.  Tonight, things were different.  I came home and played in the back yard with my kids.  We blew bubbles and played ball while Bekah was finishing dinner.  She had marinated and grilled a huge amount of chicken breasts.  I will say it was beyond amazing.  It was the juiciest chicken I've ever eaten.  If you haven't tried this chicken marinade, you have to try it ASAP!

Over the past seven months, I would come home from exhausting days like today completely dreading my workout.  I would struggle through the bike ride, wishing I had the energy to put forth a better effort.  I love working out in the mornings on days like today.  Instead of dreading an upcoming workout, my workout is complete, and I feel great.  Working out in the morning sets an incredible mood for my day.  I know there are scientific reasons behind what occurs when you work out to start your day, but I'm going to explain it simply.  I just feel better!  Also, because I'm working out in the morning, I get to spend time playing and eating dinner with my family.  So I get to feel better throughout my day, and spend more time with the three most important people in my life.  So if you are dreading your evening workouts, and missing out on time with your loved ones, try working out in the mornings.  I promise you won't regret it.  And if you're afraid of being too tired, I have an awesome answer that will give you energy, help fight sugar cravings, and help balance your blood sugar.  What could be better than that?  I'm enjoying my exhausting days, and I'm losing my butter half.

My calorie intake today was really great.  I did snack on too many Cheez-its right before dinner with the kids.  I'm not joking when I say you need to try that chicken marinade I linked to above!  My workout this morning was awesome!  I'm able to complete the entire fifty minute ride, crunches, and the full amount of time on my planks!  A little Slim afterwards, and Bio Cleanse during the day.  I cap the day off with ProBio5 at bedtime.  I'm loving these life changes.  JOIN ME!
