Bekah is the perfect partner for me. She balances out our home with a tenderness that I don't possess. Her love and sweetness are contagious. One of the most amazing things is how she patiently loves me. For six years she loved me even though I didn't take care of myself. She never pressured me to lose weight. Yes, there were times she would respectfully and humbly make suggestions or requests of me to get healthy. Still, she never made me feel guilty and always let me know that she would love me no matter if I was large or small. She just wanted me to get healthy so I would be here to provide for and love her and our kids. She has never showed anger, impatience, or bitterness towards me because of my weight. What this did for me was set me up for success. When I started this journey I was able to go to her for help, because I trusted her. I knew she would love me no matter what. So seven years later, I now weigh less than I did the night we got engaged. I am so excited to be losing and I am thankful for my love who is here with me as I lose my butter half.
My calorie intake was great today. Bekah made a really delicious "rotisserie" chicken in the Instant Pot tonight. I really enjoyed that with some sweet potatoes, green beans, and cucumbers. My workout this morning went well. I was able to get my push-ups in, but they are not getting any easier.
