Day Two Hundred and Sixty-Four - Looking Back (From the Back)

Last fall we had some family pictures taken by a friend.  It's amazing for me to look back at them, because at the time they were taken I was so excited about the progress I had made.  I looked "so much thinner" than when I started in September.  It's been six months since that picture was taken and every time I see those pictures now I think of how big I was back then.  For a little while now I've been wondering how a comparison would look to that picture of me walking away.  Apparently I wasn't the only one who was wondering that.  Bekah had me stop while we were out for a family walk tonight and grabbed a picture from behind.  When we put them side-by-side I was shocked.  I couldn't believe the difference.  Then it hit me.  I'm close to eighty pounds lighter than I was 6 months ago.  I'm so grateful for the success I've had this far.  I can't wait to take a comparison picture this upcoming November.  Until then, I'm going to keep moving forward (or down) until I've lost my butter half.

My calorie intake today was good.  I did have a slice of pizza (from a small) tonight with my dinner.  I probably should have passed on that, but it was so good!  I'm still hitting my ten pushups for my workout, but it is far from easy.  I'm having to break it up into two sets of five still.  I'm so sore!
