Day Two Hundred and Sixty - Weigh in #37 - My Pitiful Attempt at Pushups

It's been a while since I have attempted a push up.  By "a while" I mean approximately six years.  If I'm being completely honest (which I try to be), those pushups were from my knees.  Who knows how long it's been since I did a real pushup!  After nine weeks of slowly adding in crunches and planks today was the day to add my first set of pushups.  I assumed that after all of the planks I have been doing that I would be able to knock out a set of fifteen pushups.  NOPE!  I wasn't able to hit it.  After the first pitiful excuse for a pushup, I gave it my all to get four more just as pitiful excuses for pushups.  I guess this week will be striving to hit ten to fifteen by next Thursday.  I have to start somewhere.

So now that I have you laughing at my measly attempt at pushups, let's get to the main point of my post.  I woke up this morning to do what I do every Thursday morning.  I stepped onto my nemesis (or ally depending on the day) to see how much weight I had lost this week.  I'm happy to say that even without having my Plexus products for a large portion of this week I still saw my weight go down (just not as much as I'd like).  As of this morning I am down another 1.4 lbs.  This brings my total weight loss to 119.6 lbs.  My current weight is now 246.6 lbs.  I was really hoping to be down another 2 lbs. or more, but I am always happy to see the number be less than my prior weigh in.  I will be very careful this next week and make sure that I take all of my products (since they finally arrived from their adventure through L.A. eight days late).  I don't see this week as anything but a positive, and a boost to work even harder to lose my butter half.

My calories today were great.  We had leftovers of last nights Instant Pot meal, and Bekah made some really good frozen peanut butter/cocoa/banana bites.  They were the perfect healthy dessert.  My workout was great this morning until I got to my pushups.  I am looking forward to adding to those and building up to fifteen per set.
