Day Two Hundred and Eighty-Seven - Swequity

Last night was an amazing experience!  I had an absolute blast sharing my weight loss and digestive health story live on Facebook.  I hope all of you who watched enjoyed it and found benefit in my story and the stories of others who shared.  The financial testimonies of how Plexus has given freedom and the other health testimonies were nothing short of inspiring.  If you watched and have questions, please reach out to me and I'll have Bekah contact you with more information.

This morning's workout was really hard.  I was very tired and had trouble rolling out of bed at 5:40 this morning.  I didn't feel like doing anything other than getting back into bed and sleeping for another hour.  Still, I knew that I needed to get a good workout in.  I fought through the initial mind games of giving up, and pushed through the sluggish feelings.  The bike ride was okay from there, but the crunches and planks were far from easy.  I sweated a ton this morning, as you can see in my picture.  I like when I complete a workout and can see the results.  I like to call it my sweat equity, or "swequity."

I have another weigh in tomorrow morning.  As is normal with me, I'm getting my usual jitters the night before a weigh in.  I don't feel as though I have done a great job this week, with several days of making poor food choices.  I'm really hoping to be down another two pounds, and stay on track for my two hundred and twenty goal by September first.  I need an early bedtime and maybe a brief workout tonight.  We'll see how I do in the morning.  No matter what the scale says, I'm still losing my butter half.

My calories today were great, but I didn't quite eat enough.  We had salmon, and I didn't realize how few calories were in the fish.  I ate plenty and I am really full, but I still didn't hit my minimum calories.  My workout was hard, but very satisfying.  I'm still having some pain from the pulled muscle in my chest, but it is much better than the past two days.
