Day Two Hundred and Eighty-Three - Is That My Shopping Cart?
As I walked through Kroger this evening, I noticed that the changes in my life have made an impact on my shopping cart. I looked down and saw a cart full of produce. Sweet potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, spinach, peppers, avocados (obviously for Bekah), berries, bananas, mangos, and more. There was some meat and eggs, but the overall majority was produce. In the past my cart would have had a few pieces of produce and meat, and then tons of chips, crackers, and other junk food. I would have definitely had at least one tub of Blue Bell ice cream, but I don't crave that anymore (thanks Plexus)! It is amazing how different my life is today because of the decisions I made last fall. I am excited to see what other changes and differences there are once I've lost my butter half.
My calorie intake was really good today. I grilled more pork chops for my parents who have stopped in for the night. My workout this morning went really well. My push-up form is improving, and I'm confident that it will not be much longer before I can consistently do ten push-ups (not on my knees) with proper form.
