Day Two Hundred and Ninety - Family Pizza Party!

I really think my new pizza oven adapter kit is one of my favorite things.  This is the second weekend in a row that we've used it.  I think it may need be the the last time for a few weeks (I will never lose my butter half this way).  It amazes me how hot the oven gets.  It is well over 900 degrees, and stays at that heat for close to twenty minutes.  It really only takes 2-4 minutes to cook each pizza.  We made a few new types of pizza tonight.  This is the first time we made a pizza with an alfredo sauce which everyone really liked (I liked it aside from the mushrooms).  We also did a Hawaiian pizza for my dad.  It's my parents last night here, so my sister and her family came and we made TONS of pizza.  I have always gone by the mantra, "it's better to have too much, than to not have enough!"  I think after everything was said and done we still had roughly three whole pizzas left.  Hospitality is a huge love language for me, so I really enjoy cooking and sharing my favorite food with others.  I really am going to have to stop having pizza every weekend, but I do love being able to eat it and still lose my butter half.

My calories weren't great, because we were out of spinach at lunch.  I ended up having some snack wraps from McDonald's.  I think this may have been the first time since last September that I have eaten McD's.  I got the kids chicken nuggets and fries, and then proceeded to eat some of the fries.  We had the pizza for dinner, so while I didn't blow my calories out of the water, I definitely didn't eat the best foods.  I mowed the grass and worked out today, so I did great for exercise today.  I went way over 10,000 steps!
