One of the coolest things about having lost over one hundred and twenty pounds, is the look people give you when they haven't seen you in a while. I had a customer come today that I probably hadn't seen in four or five months. The first time I met this customer was back in December. We had discussed weight loss, and I had told them about this blog and my journey. When I went to open the door to meet them this evening, the look they gave me said it all. They couldn't believe I was the same person! Moments like this do two things. They encourage me to keep going. The fact that others see my progress is very uplifting and motivating. Second, when someone doesn't recognize me or is shocked by my change, I know it motivates them to reach their goals. This journey is not just about me. If I'm not motivating others to reach their goals, then I'm doing something wrong. So when you see the success I'm having, please don't just say good job and move on. I hope you are inspired to fight for whatever goals you have in your life. As you do, I'll keep fighting to lose my butter half.
I have to brag on Bekah for a moment. Tonight she made an absolutely incredible dinner. Salmon with roasted vegetables and sliced sweet potatoes. My calories were great today! I was able to get up and get a full workout in this morning. It is getting a little easier to get my pushups in!
