Day Three Hundred and Eight - After a Poor Week, I Finished with a Bang!


So this may have been the worst week for eating that I have had during this entire journey.  I started it off with poor decisions last Friday with dinner out with friends.  Then I allowed it to carry through to Monday when I had pizza, Tuesday with chips and a milkshake, and finally today (of all days) I ate some pizza I brought home from work for Bekah and the kids.  I'm a little frustrated with myself, because now I am looking at the risk of not just failing to lose weight, but actually gaining a couple of pounds.  I had a salad with my pizza tonight, but why in the world I would eat that the night before my weigh in is beyond me.  I ran tonight just to try and offset some of my poor decisions.  Regardless of what the scale says in the morning, I'm still losing my butter half.

My calories today were good, but my food choice at dinner was poor.  I have to do better than this.  I know I can do better than this.  My workout was great and my run tonight was even better.  I figured since I've had such a terrible week with eating, I would run two miles (for the first time since I started running again) and then do ten more minutes on the bike.  I am excited that I hit 10,000 steps today!  We'll see if it helps when I step on the scale in the morning.
