Day Three Hundred and Eighteen - Attack of the Stomach Bug

B has now had his first experience with a stomach virus.  The poor little guy woke up in the middle of the night with a tummy ache.  He was crying so Bekah plucked him from his bed, and on the trip across the house, last nights dinner came around for a visit.  We had no doubt it was a stomach virus after he slept past nine this morning.  That and when he tossed his cookies (well, banana and toast) later this morning.  He's been kind of up and down throughout the day, but took a nap and has kept liquids and saltine crackers down.  I think I've said this before, but there is nothing worse than when one of your kids is sick.  As a parent you feel completely helpless when you can't make them feel better.  Especially when your baby boy looks at his momma with the "I don't understand why this is happening" look as he upchucks.  I'm grateful he is doing better.  We are praying that it is over now, and that the rest of us don't catch the bug.

My calories for today have been good.  I did drink some grape juice hoping to help avoid this stomach bug, so that put me higher than I would have liked.  We were very careful about avoiding greasy foods.  The last thing we want is to eat foods that will upset our stomachs.  I mean, who doesn't want to see pizza and hot wings twice?  I was excited to get back to my workout today, and I got a great run in tonight.  I didn't worry about my time, I just focused on hitting two miles!
