Day Three Hundred and Fifteen - The Fuel in My Engine

It's official, I am hooked on Grippo's (seasoning) as a rub for chicken.  For the second time in only a few days, I made pan-cooked chicken, rubbed down with the seasoning from my favorite chips.  This time, I decided to eat it on a salad.  It was amazing!  The ranch and the tenders paired perfectly together.  It was a little spicy, but that just made the mix with the ranch even better.  There is something very satisfying about eating healthy meals.  It gives a great energy.  I don't feel heavy or bloated in the least.  I feel like I have just put fuel in my engine, and I can keep on driving.

I have another weigh in tomorrow morning.  After last weeks weigh in, I am a little nervous about this one.  I really wanted to make up for not losing last week, but I don't feel like I've lost anything.  I'm praying hard that when I step on the scale I'll see at least two pounds lost.  I'm not sure what more I could have done to lose.  I even did an extra twenty-five minutes on the bike tonight.  I guess the only thing to do now is to get some rest.  I'm praying for great results, and I'm losing my butter half.

My calories today were perfect.  I was very cautious about what I ate, and the few sweets I did have I kept to a simple taste.  My workout today was really good.  I don't have a voice, and my throat and chest are very scratchy, so I decided not to run.  I opted for a short workout on the bike while watching Peyton Manning host the ESPYS.
