Day Three Hundred and Nine - Weigh in #44 - Oops!

Well folks it has finally happened.  After forty straight weeks of losing weight, I guess it was bound to happen that I would have a week where I didn't lose.  As I said yesterday, this was one of my worst weeks so far.  I made poor decisions for what foods I was eating, and had several meals that I was unsure of the calories.  Even though I exercised a lot, I still managed to not only fail to lose, but also put on a little.  I am not beating myself up too much about this.  It's one bad week.  Also, I'm pretty sure that the discipline I put into working out kept me from having a large setback.  So this week I'm going to be more disciplined in what I put in my body.  No more eating a meal, and then saying, "oops!"

When I stepped on the scale this morning, I definitely didn't see the numbers I was hoping to see (anything under 231lbs.).  Instead I saw my weight go up slightly.  As of this morning I was up (yes, you read that correctly) .2 lbs.  This brings my total loss to 134.6 lbs., with a current weight of 231.6 lbs.  I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, my workouts would have still helped me come down at least a half pound.  I can say that I am glad that it was only 0.2 lbs. gained.  I weigh almost the exact same as I did last week.  I'm not worried about heading back down, rather I'm just frustrated about the wasted week.  So I'm not going to beat myself up over this.  Instead I will use it as fuel to do better this week.  I have to go back to the discipline and focus that has gotten me to this point.  I'm grateful I didn't have a major setback.  I gained this week, and now I'm more focused than ever on losing my butter half.

My calories today have been really good.  I had a normal breakfast and salad for lunch.  Bekah made a really great salmon patty for dinner tonight.  I made a buffalo sauce to spread on it (which was absolutely delicious).  I did have a little Halo Top (which is very low calorie) after dinner to help get my calories where I wanted them.  My exercise was great.  I ran again tonight and completed two miles again.  I'm starting to think this may be a regular thing!
