E has been sick for the past few days (going to see her doctor in the morning), so we didn't go into town and watch the fireworks show. Thankfully she was feeling up to sitting in the driveway and watching our neighbors shoot some of their fireworks off. There is something magical about watching the bright explosions in the sky. There is something even more magical about watching those explosions with your daughter and hearing her giggles and screams as she watched. I'm so grateful to live in a country where I can grill out, go for a run, and watch fireworks. I'm grateful to live in a country that I can have the freedom to workout and eat foods and take supplements that I know will help me get healthier. Happy 4th of July everyone. I'm losing my butter half.
My calories today were not good. I didn't stay under 1500 calories. I ate chips and even had a milkshake. We made homemade strawberry milkshakes with fresh strawberries, milk, and vanilla ice cream. I feel like I may have shot myself in the foot for this weeks weigh in. My exercise today was great. I got up and worked out this morning, and then ran tonight. I was able to shorten my run time again. I know that by this fall I'll be running well under ten minute miles.
