Day Three Hundred and Six - Delicious (Low Cal) Ice Cream and a Great Run

Bekah and I discovered something amazing tonight.  When I tell you about it, it just may change your life forever.  If you haven't tried Halo Top ice cream, then you need to drop everything (well, please finish reading my blog first) and go buy some.  We've been wanting to try some after hearing about it for a while.  I decided to bring Bekah home a treat from Kroger, and when I saw that these were a dollar off right now (I know, some big discount, right?), I knew that this would make her night!  I got a pint of Peanut Butter Cup and a Pint of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.  I'm not going to even try to describe them.  I'm simply going to tell you that it was the best ninety calories of ice cream I've ever eaten, and that you really have to try it for yourself.

I went for another run tonight.  It was pretty muggy outside, but I knew I needed to get the run in just in case it rains tomorrow.  My runs are feeling pretty great each night.  I don't feel any pain and I'm able to finish with a pretty strong kick for the last eighth of a mile.  I considered adding one more lap tonight to get my distance up to two miles, but I just didn't have it in me.  I really want to get my distance up as soon as I can.  I know it will benefit me to be running for twenty to twenty-five minutes each time I head out.  Overall I'm just excited to be running again.  I know this will help me lose my butter half.

My calories were a little higher than I wanted them to be.  I had pizza at lunch (Paxton's meat lovers, my favorite) because my boss bought it for the office.  I did have my salad for dinner, so I did my best to even it out.  The ice cream put me over my 1500 calories.  My workout this morning went well, and as I said above, my run tonight was great!
