Day Three Hundred and Twenty-One - Happy 5th Birthday E Bug

I can't believe that I became a father five years ago today.  In one night my entire life changed as God gave me a beautiful little girl to raise and protect.  She was beautiful from the first moment I met her and I loved how even when she was only a few minutes old, she was wide-eyed as if she was observing the world around her.  She is smart, kind, funny, passionate, caring, sweet, goofy, determined, fun, giggly, and so much more.  She hears everything and remembers so much.  She was so excited to celebrate today.  She chose waffles with blueberries and whipped cream for breakfast, mac and cheese for lunch, and PB&J for dinner.  She requested a chocolate cake with white icing for tonight (but then announced after that she wants an ice cream cake next year because she really just likes the icing).  I love how I can see changes as she is growing up.  She is so appreciative for every present.  Her excitement is still that of a child, but the manner in which she says thank you is so sweet.  She even told Bekah we could have cake tomorrow if she didn't feel up to baking one for tonight.  I can't imagine life without her.  I love my little E Bug so much.  Tonight, it's for E that I am losing my butter half.

My calories were really good today.  I did have some chips in my salad tonight (instead of goldfish and croutons) and a few small bites of cake and ice cream.  I had a really good workout this morning, and then finished off my day with a two mile run.
