Day Three Hundred and Twenty - Running and McDonald's Don't Mix

It's been a long day for the Vickers' crew.  Bekah has caught B's stomach bug, and felt horrible all day.  I have been very little help while at work, so I did what any guy would do to help his sick wife, I picked up dinner on the way home.  The closest restaurant to our house is McDonald's, so this genius picked up Happy Meals for his kiddos and a snack wrap for himself.  I bought an extra fry and chicken McNuggets just in case B didn't want a burger (which was a good move, because the kid wouldn't touch the burger).  I didn't realize their meal came with fries and apple slices, or I wouldn't have bought the extra fry.  I proceeded to bring this greasy food home and my children and I dug in.  The wrap was grilled, so I was good there, and I had a couple of the extra nuggets.  The problem was I found myself eating the fries.  I really don't know how many I ate, because I gave some of them to the kids and there were some left over but I really feel lousy after eating them.  The grease is terrible, and it just sits so heavy on my stomach.  Not only that, but we have a stomach virus going through our family which E and I haven't had yet.  And I brought the worst food in and gave it to both of us.  Like I said, I'm a genius (said with boatloads of sarcasm).  Even though I've done pretty well since my last weigh in, I'm really wondering if I may have ruined this week's weigh in with tonight's dinner.  I need to do great tomorrow and Wednesday if I'm going to make progress on losing my butter half.

My calories were within their limit today, I just made the mistake of eating McDonald's.  This isn't a mistake I'll be repeating anytime soon.  The picture above show what you feel like when you go running with a belly of french fries is miserable to say the least.  Here's to a better day tomorrow.
