Day Three Hundred and Fifty - Early Workouts are Harder After Being Sick
I'm just about back to my full workout each morning. After being sick, it is harder than I expected to get up early each morning. All I can think about each morning is climbing back into bed and getting another hour or two of sleep. I know that I need to reestablish this discipline as a habit, but it is not an enjoyable habit. I'm going to attempt to do my entire workout tomorrow morning. We'll see how that goes.
Tomorrow morning is an important weigh in for me. As you all know, I went up over a pound and a half last week. In order to hit my September first goal of two hundred and twenty pounds, I have to lose nearly eight pounds in three weeks. I am really hoping to get a jump on that by dropping three or four pounds tomorrow morning. I would think that a stomach bug and having no appetite due to having Strep Throat would only speed up the process, but you never know. I had a few days with pudding and milkshakes, so we will have to wait until tomorrow morning to see if I am still losing my butter half.
I ate real food again today. My meals were great. I didn't need to eat a banana muffin with my dinner, but they were fresh out of the oven. Everyone knows that warm muffins, cookies, or pies are completely impossible to turn down. It's like an unwritten, universal law that one must eat any of those three desserts when they are fresh and hot. My workout this morning was good. I'm trying to get back on track with a full workout.
