Day Three Hundred and Fifty-Three - Back on the Pavement

I was able to get outside for a run this morning.  It's the first time in two weeks because I've had back-to-back illnesses.  I really enjoyed getting out in the fresh air as I exercised.  The only thing I didn't think about was how bright the sun was this morning.  I'm excited to say that I ran the fastest two-mile since I started running again.  This is huge for me, because running is something I plan to continue the rest of my life.  I really want to start being outdoors more as a result of this journey.  I want to start hiking and bicycling.  We actually were given a bike for Bekah today, and we have a trailer for the kids to ride in.  I know running regularly will help me stay in shape so I can spend more time doing outdoor activities.  I'm so excited to be making all of these long-term life changes.  I'm excited to see what is possible as I lose my butter half.

My calories today were perfect.  I really need to be a little more careful these next few days with sugar.  I really want to be down at least two more pounds by Thursday.  My run today was great, and I did push-ups, crunches, and planks.  I also found out (thanks to Bekah's picture) that I need to do serious work on my form for my planks.
