Day Three Hundred and Forty - Back Home!

This weekend was amazing.  Bekah and I were asked to cook for a marriage retreat at a lake house up in Heber Springs.  As many of you have probably gathered from my posts, we love to cook together.  Having the opportunity to cook for people and joining in on the retreat sessions was absolutely amazing.  Hospitality is definitely a love language that Bekah and I share.  We haven't gotten away without the kids since B was born, so this was a much needed weekend.  The lake was gorgeous, and the weather was beautiful (until today).  Each morning I was able to go out for a run in perfect sixty-eight degree weather.  We made new friends, and received teaching and advice on how to strengthen areas of our personal lives and our marriage.  I couldn't have asked for a better weekend.  I want to share a few pictures of the food we cooked and show how amazing the lake was.  I'm exhausted, but refreshed.  I'm losing my butter half.

So it's time to get back on track.  I ate so much food this weekend.  I blew it on my calories, but today I made sure to stay within my goal.  Tomorrow through Thursday will be hard work and discipline to catch back up.  I ran two miles (at a great pace) both Saturday and Sunday mornings, so now it's time to add my body weight workout into the mix.
