Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Seven - Weigh in #48 - Still Heading in the Right Direction


It is much later than I wanted to be writing my blog entry tonight, but sometimes that's how life goes.  Bekah had to do some grocery shopping, so I played with the kiddos and put them in bed.  I love putting E down, and lying down next to her.  She tries to whisper to me and I can rarely understand a single thing she's whispering.  Still, I try to listen for a moment, and then whisper back that it's time to go to sleep and that I don't want her to wake B.  I love my time with my kids, and I will always be grateful I get to be home with them each evening.  

My weigh in today was better than I was expecting.  After eating pizza, Asian stir fry, and then tons of bread during this past week, I was just praying that I wouldn't have gained weight.  Thankfully, I wasn't up at all.  I am happy to say that I was down 1 lb.  That brings my total weight loss to 140 lbs. even, with a current weight of 226.2 lbs.  I know this isn't the two pounds per week I am trying to lose, but I'm grateful to be down!  This leaves me only 6.2 lbs. to lose by September first.  If I can hit two pounds per week for the next four weeks, I will pass my goal!  I'm excited for the challenge.  I'm getting closer to losing my butter half.  

My calories today weren't my best.  I allowed some sugary treats.  I will have to be focused and limit my sweets as I work towards my next weigh in.  I had a great workout this morning.  I think the six inch leg holds may be the worst exercise ever!  I can't wait for them to get a little less painful.  Here's to another week in the books!
