Day Four Hundred and Seven - Weigh in #58 - A Cold Morning Run

Each time I've been sick this year I would lose weight at the following weigh in.  I was assuming that would be the case after having Strep last weekend.  As I said last night, I was worried about the amount of ice cream, popsicles, and pudding cups I had while I was sick.  I have tried really hard the last few days to do better, and hopefully prevent gaining any weight.

Unfortunately, when I stepped on the scale this morning, the numbers did not go down.  In fact, they went the opposite direction.  After a poor weekend of eating, I ended up gaining 1 lb.  My current weight is now 213.8 lbs., with a total loss of 152.4 lbs.  This makes me wonder how much I would have gained if I hadn't buckled down the past few days.  Also, I have to remind myself that a 1 lb. change can be a change in bloating or water weight.  Still, I know I ate way too many unhealthy foods over the weekend.  I knew eating multiple servings of ice cream and pudding cups each day would definitely cause a setback.  Maybe one of these days I will learn not to ignore that inner voice that tells me that something is a bad idea.  Still, I know I can make up for the gain this next week.  I'm not going to let another bad week keep me from losing my butter half.

My calories today were great.  Bekah really does an amazing job preparing food for me.  She made me a delicious egg and sausage breakfast, a salad for lunch (which takes a long time to prepare), and capped it off with really tasty chicken enchiladas.  The only thing that wasn't healthy was that I split a pudding cup with B.  My run this morning was cold.  It was only forty-seven degrees when I went out.  I was freezing for the first mile.  The plus was that it prompted me to run faster for that first mile.  I have a feeling I'm not going to like running during the winter.
