Day Four Hundred and Forty-Two - Weigh in #63 - Finishing Well

It's me again, Daniel.  I really don't know what I should blog tonight.  I decided to use the old method of simply typing out what comes to mind, and see where that leads.  Well, to be honest, that may be kind of frightening when it comes to my mind.  We may end up on the biggest rabbit trail ever.  I feel I should tell you that I ate a lot of food today.  Definitely way more than I should have.  It started with a free BBQ lunch from Whole Hog Cafe.  If you are ever in Central Arkansas, you have to try Whole Hog's pulled chicken.  It is the best smoked chicken EVER!  Then I had a social tonight for work.  I ate way more than I intended to, but every bite was delicious!  Sometimes you just need a day off.  I will get back to my strict calorie count tomorrow.

As you all know, the last couple of weigh ins weren't my best.  I didn't eat well, and then paired with my week off from exercise following the half marathon created a recipe for weight gain.  I was very focused this week, and got back to the discipline that has helped me lose weight so far.  I am excited to let you know that when I weighed in this morning, I was down 3 lbs!  That brings my total weight loss to 154.8 lbs., with a current weight of 211.4 lbs.  This means that not only did I lose the weight that I had put on, but I am nearly a full pound more!  If I can be very careful and disciplined this next week I am very confident that I can be under 210 lbs. by Thanksgiving.  I am so glad to be back on track and on my way to finishing this journey to lose my butter half.

Like I posted above.  I really didn't even try to stay within my calories today.  I will get back on it tomorrow.  My workout on the bike was really good this morning.  It was a hard workout, but I got the full fifty minutes in.  My ankle is feeling good, and I'm excited to hit the pavement again this Saturday!
