Day Five Hundred and Nineteen - Weigh in #74 - Back on the Pavement
Well today was a good day for me. I did great on my calories, and for the first time in three weeks, I ran! I decided to give a run a try even though my hip and back are still hurting. I had noticed that I don't feel any pain while walking. It's just when I got to stand up or sit down. It hurt when I bend over at the waist. The awesome thing was that I didn't feel it at all when I was running. It is still sore now when I bend or go to stand up, but running hasn't had any negative impact on it. The run really wore me out, but it was amazing getting back out on the pavement.
My weigh in this morning went about like I was expecting. After losing so much weight last week having the flu, I was expecting to be up this week after I started eating again. I thought I would be up three to five pounds, but thankfully that wasn't the case. When I weighed this morning, I was up 2.4 lbs. This brings my total weight loss to 159.8 lbs., with a current weight of 206.4 lbs. I am very happy that I am only back up 2.4 lbs., because I know it easily could have be 5 or more pounds. Now that I am going to be running regularly again, I know it would be too long before I have lost my butter half.
