Day Five Hundred and Seventy-Seven
My calories today were good. Bekah and I ended our no candy or desserts period (with tomorrow being Easter and all. On Monday we are going to back to our plan and do another period without sugar (which will take another hiatus for Bekah’s birthday on Friday). My run today went great! I got a full 10K in today. It felt so good to run a full 6.2 miles. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. There wasn’t any pain, and I did it in an awesome time!

Day Five Hundred and Seventy-Six
Today was a good day. I ate too much cereal this morning, and a few too many snacks. Otherwise I did much better overall. My run today felt great. I put in five miles, and I ran it faster than I’ve run it so far. My fifth mile may have even been my fastest mile I have run so far at 8:06. I’m grateful for the improvements I’m seeing in my running. Tomorrow is another run!

Day Five Hundred and Seventy-Five - Weigh in #82 - Too Many Snacks
I honestly don't know what happened this week. I had really good days for my calories. I worked out each day, but somehow I still didn't have the weigh in I was looking for. All I can figure out is that I'm eating too many crackers and chips. Well, all of the chips are out of the house now, and the crackers will be soon. I have already stopped eating candy and desserts, so we'll add this to the mix, and see how I do from there. I am also going to make the change from eating late at night. I am obviously doing something incorrectly, so I'll make a few adjustments to get back on track.
Ok, so I know that previous paragraph sound all "gloomy," but everything is ok. I stepped on the scale this morning, and I was actually up 1 lb. This brings my total weight loss to 149.2 lbs, with a current weight of 217 lbs. As you can see, it wasn't THAT bad of a week. I was just hoping to be down this week after going up a couple pounds last week. I know that it is how weigh loss goes sometimes. I will make the necessary adjustments, and then move forward. I'm not going to give up, instead I will work harder and be more disciplined. I WILL lose my butter half.
My calories today were a little over where I'd prefer for them to be. I could have eased off the crackers and humus (again). Bekah made a fantastic dinner tonight. It was a buffalo chicken grilled cheese (not the sandwich, just a chicken breast). It was fantastic! Check out the recipe here. My run today went well. I got a full five mile run in this morning before my work! The who run felt great, and I can't wait to get out again.

Day Five Hundred and Seventy-Four
My calories today we’re really good. I kept within my goal, and again didn’t haven’t have candy or deserts. I did eat too many pretzels tonight, but overall, I don’t have any complaints. I’m really doing pretty well with the no candy/desserts. Bekah did make brownies today for her ladies Bible study, but I didn’t have any (even though they smelled amazing) and even more impressively, she didn’t have any either. And she made them!!! My run today was quick. After doing some research and looking at some future commercial locations for my business, there wasn’t much time left for a run. So I squeezed in a quick 5K. It felt good to run. What was pretty awesome was that I talked on the phone the entire run, and I averaged under a 9:30 minute/mile.

Day Five Hundred and Seventy-Three
My calories today weren’t great. I skipped my normal salad at lunch and had crackers and humus. That wouldn’t have been bad choice if I had counted out the crackers ahead of time. Instead I ate way too many calories for a lunch. My run today went well. I got in a solid four miles before the rain started this afternoon. I have to do better tomorrow with my calories.

Day Five Hundred and Seventy-Two
Today's calories were really good. I did good to avoid unnecessary food, and didn't have any candy or desserts. The only negative was the amount of crackers and humus I had tonight was more than I needed, but I still stayed within my calorie goal. This no candy and no desserts time has gone really well. Bekah and I are talking about continuing it out past this weekend. My run today was really tough. My feet felt like lead bricks, and it took about three miles to get going. While my overall time was slower than I like, but I still completed the full 10K!

Day Five Hundred and Seventy-One
Today was an ok day for my calorie intake. I ate a few more chips than needed with my soup tonight. But I still stayed in my safe range. I have discovered that I really like Clif Bars, but I have to limit how often I have one. I really wasn’t feeling great this afternoon, so I rested a lot. Then went for a light 5K run. I ran a little slower than my last few runs. It sprinkled a little while I ran, which was interestingly fitting for how I felt today. After my run, I came in and saw Duke lose to Kansas in overtime. That immediately made today a good day!

Day Five Hundred and Seventy
I want to post really quick. I had a decent day for calories. I ate popcorn and some chips, but other than that, my intake was really good. My run this morning went well. I got in five miles, and kept my pace under nine minutes per mile again. I also mowed and trimmed the grass today. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty beat. In fact, I'm going to end this post hear and get some shut-eye before church in the morning.

Day Five Hundred and Sixty-Nine
For the most part I had a really good day for calories. I still need to avoid the chips that I am inclined to snack on. Honestly, I think I was just trying to avoid eating candy, so I started eating chips. I have to be more careful with them. I still haven't been counting out a serving like I used to. If I'm going to eat chips, I have to get back to that practice. My run today was nice. I ran another 5K (actually 3.25 miles), and it felt great. I actually ran the entire run at a pace just under nine minutes per mile. That is really fast for me. I didn't feel like I was overly exerting myself. The pace just felt really good. I am having some back/hip pain, but I'm wondering if it is a kidney stone or some sort of injury. It doesn't hurt while I run, just later. I guess I'll be paying my doctor a visit it if doesn't go away soon.
