Day Five Hundred and Fifty-Four - Weigh in #79 - A Bad Week, But Not My Worst


So I knew that I would have a bad weigh in today.  I thought it would be a 10 lb. increase, but was hoping it would only be a 4 lb. gain.  I didn't get to weigh last week because we were traveling, but back on February 22nd, I weighed in at 208.8 lbs.  Let's be honest, I had a terrible week last week.  I didn't even try to eat healthy on our trip to MI.  I ate so much junk food and greasy fast food that I was sick by the time we got home Sunday evening.  So, after all of that, where did I stand when I weighed this morning.

I wish I could say that I loss weight this week.  I wish that I could say that it was a miracle, and all of the long runs paid off.  But the fact is that it doesn't matter how much you are running if you are eating like a pig.  When I stepped onto the scale today, I was up 7.4 lbs.  This brought my current weight to 216.2 lbs., and my total weight loss to 150 lbs.  I know this isn't the directions I need to be heading, and if you look at the amount of weight I have lost, I have lost well over my 183.3 lbs. goal. It is just that a lot of the loss (esp. here lately), has been repeat where I lost, then gained, and then lost again.  Regardless, I am still focused on my end goal.  I'm not going to let anything keep me from hitting that goal.  I will lose my butter half.

My calories today were alright.  I had a social this evening and I have no clue how to count my calories.  It was all hors d'oeuvres, and not exactly the healthiest options.  I didn't eat a ton, and with an estimation, I would say my total calories come in around 1600-1700 for the day.  I had a cold run this morning, but I stuck it out, and got a full five miles in.  I would love to make sure I get at least 10 miles in over the weekend.
