Day Six Hundred and Thirty-Four
Just a quick post to say that I didn’t get to run today. We’ve been helping my sister’s family out by watching their kids. And have been gone for a few days. By the time I could get back to the house to run, it was going to be hot and I was too tired. So we stayed and spent more time with them before coming home tonight. I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight. I’m going to do my best to get an Memorial Day Run in tomorrow!

It’s good to be home! It was a busy week, but now I get to be home with my family. I didn’t track my calories or exercise because of my schedule today. I have to get back on track tomorrow. For now though, it is way past my bedtime!

Day Six Hundred and Twenty-Nine - A Warm Afternoon Run
So my calories again weren’t perfect, but they weren’t awful either. I missed my run this morning, but still made it out to run this afternoon. The problem was that I had to run in the 90 degree heat. Still, I got three miles in. It is so late, that I’m going to cut this post short and get some sleep. I have an early morning tomorrow.

Day Six Hundred and Twenty-Five - Rest is Best
So I'm still not back to normal yet. I have a scratchy throat and some congestion that is very annoying. The cough is the worst part though. I really want to shake it so that I can get back out running. I must admit that the two days off from running felt pretty nice. Hopefully I will get back out for a run tomorrow. For now, rest is best.

Day Six Hundred and Twenty-Four - Smile
Well, I woke up with sinus pressure, congestion, and a sore throat. It's safe to say that I spent most of the day in bed or at my computer doing trainings. I didn't track calories or run today. Hopefully, a good nights rest will help and I'll feel better tomorrow. Still, even though it was a tough day, I can always find a reason to smile.

Day Six Hundred and Twenty-Three
It is really late, and I am not feeling my best. My throat really hurts and I'm exhausted. My eating today wasn't terrible, but it wasn't my best. I ended up eating out and lunch and then we had good barbecue for dinner. I'll have to regroup tomorrow, but if my throat isn't feeling better tomorrow will be a day off from running. My run today went well. It was a little slow, but I got in the full six miles plus (10K). I'm always happy when I finish a 10K. I really feel like I've accomplished something.

Day Six Hundred and Twenty-Two - Two Days in a Row
I think I've got myself on a role here. I had another great day, and my calories were exactly what I needed them to be. I had a few things that I still want to eliminate from my diet, but I'm happy with my overall intake today. I think the one major error was eating too much bread. I had it with every meal (and too much of it). My exercise today was really good. I put in a full five miles today. It was a morning run, and it wasn't too hot. I'm hoping for good weather tomorrow morning also. Following my run, I mowed and trimmed my yard. That gave me another workout. I'm hoping this will help me have a good weigh in this week!

Day Six Hundred and Twenty-One - Finally a Good Day
Today was great. I stayed within my calorie goals and avoided unnecessary snacking. I was careful not to eat after dinner tonight as well. Lunch wasn't healthy. I had crackers and pretzels and a banana. Still, I was careful not to snack after lunch and to avoid any desserts. My run this morning was tough. It was really humid out, and my legs felt pretty dead. I didn't even try to go for a fast time. I just wanted to get the full five miles in. Tomorrow will be a shorter run, which is nice since I don't feel all that great. I'm hoping it is somethings easily fixed with a good nights rest. Even though I'm feeling cruddy, I'm motivated by a great day that I showed good discipline!
